Dragon Ghosts are hostile ghostly remnants of the Ender Dragon that serve as a haunting reminder of the exit portal keeper.

Spawning

Dragons Ghosts don't spawn naturally yet.

You can summon a Dragon Ghost using this command: /function imm:summon/imm/dragon_ghost. You can obtain a Dragon Ghost Spawn Frame with this command: /function imm:spawn_frame/imm/dragon_ghost. Make sure to replace the 'imm' portion with whatever version you're playing on if your version is older than Snapshot 3C (example: Snapshot 2A = imm2a).

Behavior

Dragon Ghosts are hostile towards players. They will hover around preparing for attack, before opening their mouth about to breathe on the player. Dragon Ghosts will quickly fly towards their target and once they come into contact they will breathe out a cloud of Dragon Breath falling down on the surface. After that, they need to be outside of a player's 5-block radius to recharge their breath attack. After a minute they will die.

Fighting strategies

Dragon Ghost breath has a limited range. Once they unleashed it they require to go outside of the player's 5-block radius to recharge. Dodging the breath and keeping them close to you afterwards will make them unable to recharge. You can also just keep avoiding their breath and wait for them to die.

Drops

Dragon Ghosts can drop:

  • 5 experience
